El Dorado Hills Community Information

El Dorado Hills offers elegance and gracious living, combined with practical attractions for parents as well. This well-established community is home to the exclusive mansions that border on the Serrano Country Club. Moreover, El Dorado Hills residents enjoy top rated, year round schools. In addition, being located right near Folsom at the western border of the county, El Dorado Hills features easy access to Sacramento along Highway 50.

The Serrano Country Club itself has a terrific 34,000-square-foot Clubhouse. This facility won the Gold Nugget Award in 1997 for the "Best Recreational Facility". The club offers swimming, tennis, excercise facilities, a golf shop, and fine dining in addition to its 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course.

The golf course itself was designed by professional golfer, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Boasting wide fairways nestled among the local neighborhoods, the course is home to the Senior PGA Tour's Gold Rush Classic.

In addition to Serrano, El Dorado Hills boasts many other fine neighborhoods. My personal favorite, Waterford, is an area that's recently built yet well established. It features magnificent and varied custom homes on lots that often are much larger than average. It seems that every home we show in Waterford is a winner -- inside and out -- and we don't mind if this proves to be the rule with no exception.

For city light views, it's hard to beat the Ridgeview area, which looks westward toward Sacramento. (Our home search images above was a photo we took in Ridgeview one day). With the architectural variety of custom and semi-custom homes, the sometimes steep lots of Ridgeview are generally beautifully landscaped. Of course, the very steepness brings the area its views, as well as much of its outstanding resale value.
